Reviews of Phantasmical Contraptions & Other Errors on Amazon

For those who love the smell of gasoline and diesel. This anthology will catch fire if brought near a flame, due to its saturation in the potent brine of strange and caustic fiction. This fun read will deliver you to a strange environment you never knew existed; a world of danger and intrigue and above all, the omnipresent sounds of the whirring of gears and the slush of hydraulic fluid as some otherworldly danger is zeroing in on the reader from every smoky direction. Dieselpunk at its very best!

One of the best anthologies yet! My favorite story in this one is Dream Preserves. I like the shorter flash ones also like Servant’s Log. The Deiselman of Devil Wells and Occurrence at Kettle Falls were also a few favorites. The cover art is simply beautiful and I’m very happy with my purchase.
